Jobr is the fastest way to get hired! Create an account with one tap with Facebook or email signup. Then import a resume or fill in the rest of your profile to get started.
Then you're ready to get started. Swipe through your feed, swiping right to apply and left to skip. Enter a term in the search bar at the top to look for something specific. Employers will reach out directly within a couple of days!
You have to swipe a job out of the way to move onto the next. If you swipe the card left you should never see the job again, if you swipe right you apply for the job.
If you don't have enough information or an uploaded resume we'll ask for more info before letting you apply. We also have a quality score before submitting applications.
Nope! You can also create an account using your email. We only use Facebook login because it's an easy way to pull in your profile picture, education, name and other information that we can use in your resume. Once you've logged in once we never use your Facebook and we don't show any photos or posts to employers.
You can now access a suite of hiring tools by posting your job on Jobr. Check out Jobr Hiring for more infomation. The plan includes complete candidate search w/ messaging, unlimited applications and a 7-day free trial.
Access Settings in the home of your device; Scroll down and tap iTunes Store and AppStore; Tap your e-mail and Apple ID, View Apple ID and enter your password; Now, tap Subscription - Manage and select Jobr; Turn off the auto-renewal option and tap Done.
Our internal data has shown that uploading a properly formatted resume dramatically increases your chances. We definitely recommend it if you're serious about your job search. For entry level jobs that don't care about resume quality as much you're probably fine to just fill out your Jobr profile with your correct contact informaton.
There are lots of ways to upload your resume. Firstly remember we'll generate you a resume from your profile if you don't upload one. With the latest app we support more file upload services with Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, Github, Evernote, Amazon, OneDrive and Gmail.
The Gmail option lets you import from your inbox.
Unfortunately this is slightly confusing for now and we'll be making this clearer in the next update but if you upload a resume file then your profile doesn't matter as the resume will be submitted. We only parse it so that our recommendation engine knows what your most recent roles were and can show you relevant jobs.
Often our parsing system will incorrectly parse resume's and your profile may have issues but rest assured this is not being shown to recruiters. Changing your resume will not edit your uploaded resume.
If you pick an incorrect file in Dropbox or Google Drive you'll want to upload a real replace to replace it. Otherwise the incorrect file will be submitted as your resume. You unfortunately can't replace an uploaded resume by editing your profile. If you're confused just contact support!
If you signed up without Facebook you should email support about reseting your password. They'll be able to automatically send a password reset to the account you signed up with.
Just go into settings and choose "Delete my Account". We are not able to reopen your account again so proceed with caution. If you've been hired it may be easier to sign out and not apply for any more jobs.
Due to Linkedin API changes we no longer support Linkedin Login but if you did create an account with Linkedin just email us and we'll convert your account to an email password account. We made this change in May, so many users have already switched over. You can also just make a new account using Facebook or email.
You can change your location by tapping on the filters icon on the top right of the feed. Just tap on locations and enter where you're looking for a job. You can now also adjust your location radius. So if you want to see jobs anywhere within 50 miles of New York or just Manhattan.
If you run out of jobs for a search term you should try expanding the location radius as your perfect job may be a couple of miles further afield.
We have a search bar at the top of the app. Just enter a term to tailor your searches in. If you're interested in sales jobs then make sure your location is set correctly and then enter sales in the search box.
Jobr looks at your profile to surface jobs in your normal feed. If you aren't seeing things that interest you then just enter a search term in the bar at the top. I.E. nurses should try entering RN, LPN, etc.
When you swipe right you apply to the job and your resume is sent. If you just create an account and play around with the app without applying you are not visible to any employers at this time. There is no database for employers.
